What the session is actually about
Enforcing consistent security policy across one Kubernetes cluster is a solved problem. Doing it across a fleet of VKS clusters, without it turning into a manual, error-prone slog that drifts the moment nobody’s watching, is not.
That’s the session. Automating zero trust for applications at scale across many clusters, using VDefend and Avi to make it operational instead of aspirational. Less theory, more of how you’d actually run it.
The warm-up is already online
If you want a sense of what this looks like when Chris and I do it together, we ran a close cousin of this session at the VMUG Global Virtual Event a few weeks back, on applying microsegmentation across VMs and containers. Same approach: the technology underneath, whiteboards, and the version of the explanation that doesn’t make the room’s eyes glaze over.

Consider it the precursor. The Explore session takes the same instincts and pushes them across a multi-cluster estate, which is where it stops being a whiteboard exercise and starts being an operations problem.
